In our continuing effort to provide the best service to our customers, Ancona's Market has started Ancona's Express - grocery order picking service.

 

Ancona's Express customers can submit their orders via fax or email and our staff will do the shopping for you and have your order ready for pick-up at a time convenient for you.

1. To Get Started:

 

Contact one of our store managers - Dawn Zimmerer, Paul Cesca or Doug Fay and let them know that you are interested in using the Ancona's Express Service. They will ask you to send a test email to make sure we have a good connection and you'll be on our "radar screen".

2. Submit your order:

Prepare a list of all the items you would like in your order. The best format is to create either a MS Word or MS Excel document so that the file can be saved and re-used for your next order.

Be very descriptive - please include as much detail as possible so that we can be sure to get the proper item for you. Include the manufacturer, the product name and size, flavor, etc. Other details such as sugar free, low fat, etc are also helpful.

Once complete, your order can be submitted by fax or email. We use the sheet you send as a shopping list to pick your order. After you have sent your order, please call and ask for the store manager and let the manager on duty know that you have submitted an order (our management has several team members who alternate days throughout the course of the week). The manager will coordinate a pick-up time with you. Please provide a phone number where you can be reached in case there are any questions with your order.

Please allow a reasonable amount of time for your order to be assembled - usually an hour or two is fine. As we are still in the early stages of this program, we are currently offering the service daily until 6:00 P.M. Orders submitted after 6:00 P.M. will be prepared for the next business day.

3. Picking up your order

Once you have arrived in the parking lot at Ancona's Market, call the manager on duty and he or she will have your order brought out to your car and place your order in your car. To make the transaction easy, we are asking that payment be made with a credit card - the manager will complete the transaction and bring your receipt back to you.

4. Once you arrive at home, please take a minute to look through your order and make sure that your receipt is correct. Ancona's Market stands behind everything we sell, so please let us know if for any reason you are not satisfied.

As we are the early stages of developing this program, we are offering this service free of charge. In the future, once we are sure that the process is running smoothly, a small fee will be charged for each order. We ask that orders be a minimum of $50.00.
